The Asset Management Company from Banking Restructuring (Sareb) has signed an agreement with Adh Hotels, a subsidiary of Grupo Avintia, which in turn has partnered with Marriott International, for the opening this summer of the Sheraton Hacienda del Álamo Golf Hotel & Spa Resort, in Murcia. The hotel will be open from July 2018 under the international brand Sheraton.
Located on a plot of 38,500 square meters in the municipality of Fuente Álamo, the hotel complex, open all year, has a total of 154 rooms and suites. Among its facilities is a large wellness centre with spa and treatment areas, and direct access to a pool, paddle tennis, tennis, basketball, bowling and a football field.
In addition, it has an 18 plus a 6 hole golf course both designed by Dave Thomas and that can host International Championships. This resort has been operational since 2004 and is well established both in the region and internationally. Also, the establishment will have a congress area with large rooms of different capacities.
In addition to the important equipment, the establishment will have different rooms of different capacities and specific services for the realization of congresses, corporate events and social gatherings. A buffet restaurant will offer international cuisine and an à la carte signature cuisine restaurant, as well as a poolside bar.

Sareb has invested 8.6 million euros for the set-up of the resort and the opening of the hotel. In addition, the company has used 10 million euros in its maintenance since 2013, the year in which it assumed its management. Adh Hoteles has also made an investment to adopt the establishment to the requirements of the Sheraton franchise.
It is estimated that the entry into operation of the hotel will create 120 direct jobs and others both indirect, managed by Adh Hotels. In the management, maintenance and commercialization of the resort, Sareb has the help of Altamira Asset Management, one of the four companies in charge of the management and maintenance of its assets.
