RACING San Miguel CF defeated UDF Sax 4-3, in a thrilling comeback in the Valencia 1st Regional G8 having trailed 3-1 in front of their home fans in their last home game of the 2022-23 season at Montesico Blanco.
San Miguel netted three goals in the last 15 minutes of the match to bag three vital points.
Racing opened the scoring through Chispas, who was outstanding throughout, with Sax leading at half time 2-1.
In the second half, Racing pressed the Sax goal, to no avail, with the visitors increasing their lead on 75 minutes.
Racing’s fightback began with Mou scoring twice, both goals being one-on-one against the Sax keeper, to level at 3-3.
Antonio put Racing ahead on 87 minutes, to complete the seven goals thriller comeback, to win 4-3.
“It was a deserved victory that deserved this last home game joy, before concluding the season away at Pinoso CF A,” said a club spokesperson.
Champions SC Torrevieja CF A top the table on 72 points, ahead of Pinoso CF A, 68 points, with CF Sporting de San Fulgencio third on 65 points.
CD Montesinos defeated Sporting Dolores CF away 3-1, to maintain a top six spot.
UD La Coca-Aspense A sit bottom on 14 points, with Sporting Dolores CF A second bottom on 18 points, and Racing San Miguel third bottom on 19 points.
Champions Guardamar Soccer top the table on 78 points in the 2nd Regional Group16, ahead of CF Sporting Albatera, 63 points, with Callosa Deportivo CF B third on 62 points.
Atletico Crevillente sit bottom on 8 points, with second bottom Atletico Benejuzar A 22 points, and CD Horadada Thair third bottom on 25 points.
