SC Torrevieja defeated CD Cox away 3-1 on Saturday at San Fernando to remain at the top of the Valencia 1st Regional Group 8.
Goals from Lukitas, Saul and Ramiro kept Torry on the path to the league title in the race to be champions elect.
Lukitas gave Torry the lead after 25 minutes, with Cox levelling at 1-1. Saul was brought down in the penalty area and took the subsequent penalty, to give Torry a 2-1 lead on 41 minutes.
Ramiro then netted on 45 minutes to give Torry a 3-1 half-time lead.
Pinoso CF A defeated CD Montesinos 2-1 away as the race for promotion hots up, sitting in second place on 59 points, four points behind leaders Torry.
Jefferson gave Pinoso the lead on 14 minutes, with Montesinos levelling from the penalty spot at 1-1 after 60 minutes.
Jefferson netted his and Pinoso’s second after 85 minutes for the visitors to take the three points at the Municipal Stadium.
