The Valencian regional government has already asked the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV) for the endorsement to extend the requirement of the so-called Covid Passport to access the interior of certain hotel, leisure and social health premises.
The measures are currently scheduled to expire on 31 January, unless an extension is granted, whereas the requirement serves to prove the holder has complete vaccination against Covid, or that the disease has been overcome in the last six months, or that there is a negative diagnostic test, in order to be able to access a series of establishments.
This measure began to be applied on 4 December in the Valencian Community for restaurants and leisure venues with capacities of more than 50 people, visits to hospitals and residences, and celebrations of more than 500 people where a mask cannot always be worn.

However, given the evolution of the pandemic, from 24 December it was extended to all catering establishments, regardless of their capacity; to gyms, and to all public places where people eat or drink, such as cinemas, theatres, circuses or party venues.
Given that it is a measure that affects fundamental rights, the TSJCV must decide whether to endorse the extension of its validity for another month or as long as it deems appropriate.
