Rojales Council has demanded that the Consell expedite and reactivate the procedures that lead to the start of the expansion works at the La Encantá secondary education institute (IES).
The Councillor for Education, Fernando Suria, explains that for approximately a year, coinciding with the change of Government in the Community, now run by the PP, whereas Rojales is one of the many town halls led by the PSOE, there has been no news of this expansion framed within the Edificant Plan. And this despite the fact that all the documentation required from the council is in the hands of the regional executive, indicates the councillor.
The municipal efforts to expand the IES so that it can host a new higher-level training cycle for a higher technician in Comprehensive Aesthetics and Well-being have so far consisted of bidding for the project and awarding the construction management. Now we are waiting for the Valencian government to carry out the process of updating prices regarding the execution project, Suria explained.
For this reason, the deputy and head of Education of the PSPV-PSOE, José Luis Lorenz, recently visited, together with the Councillor for Education, the IES of Rojales where they met with the management of the educational centre and thus learned first-hand the current situation of the project.
