Cambiemos has said that the Orihuela Social Services have been unable to carry out many of its functions due to a lack of an internet connection in their offices which is preventing them from offering an adequate service.
They say that the incident is not an isolated event, since in recent weeks there has been instability with the connection in several municipal offices, both in Orihuela Centro and on the Coast.
The opposition group says that it wants to highlight the current situation of some municipal agencies, particularly Social Services on which many people depend, in both Orihuela Centro (in the Prop building) and on the Coast (in the Alameda del Mar civic centre), as well as the Registry, which is also located in the Prop building.
The lack of an internet connection leads to many complications, such as a failure in communication and the inoperability of equipment, thus preventing the service from being offered adequately.
The councillor for social services was contacted for a comment.
