Orihuela hosted the arrival of the 3rd stage of the Vuelta Ciclista de la Comunidad Valenciana Gran Premio Banco Sabadell (San Vicente del Raspeig-Orihuela), on Friday at the Marqués de Molins Avenue.
The mayor was on hand to welcome the riders along with the Councilor for Sports, Víctor Sigüenza, who said, “this is an important day in our sports calendar, an event that is now established in Orihuela.”
The cyclists arrived at 4:05 p.m., thus ending the third stage, which consisted of a 161km route (sprint) in which, the final stretch was around some of the smaller villages in the Oriolano municipality, La Murada, El Escorratel, San Bartolomé, Hurchillo and Arneva.
