Every November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is commemorated, with the purpose of making violence against women and girls visible worldwide. Events were held across the entire region with the public taking to the streets in droves.
Days earlier 5 youths had raped a 14 year old girl in Dolores. They are currently under arrest and being held at a number of different institutions across the Community.
