Crescendo International Choir performed a concert at a new venue on May 15, raising more than 200 euros for ADISMON, a Spanish charity that helps disabled children integrate into normal life. The new venue was the School of Music and Culture in Los Montesinos. Hopefully, this will be the start of a successful relationship between this school and Crescendo Choir, according to Robin Myers, the new Crescendo Choir President.

On Saturday, June 17, in the evening, Crescendo Choir will perform its final concert before summer break, at the Club, located at Calle Toledo, 24, in Quesada.

Some of the songs performed at its most recent concert were the beautiful Prayer of St. Francis, with a solo by tenor Robin Myers, Make You Feel My Love, made famous by Adele, I Say a Little Prayer for You, made popular by Dione Warwick, The Rose, sung by Bette Midler and the well-loved Spanish song Amapola. The choral group also sang City of Stars, from the film LA LA Land, winner of six Academy Awards in 2017. For its finale, the choir sang a medley of songs from the musical Les Misérables.

The choir would be delighted to have more singers, especially basses. This international group sings a variety of songs ranging from musicals to spirituals, from pop to classical, mostly in English or Spanish. Rehearsals take place at Rincon de Miguel in Los Montesinos on Mondays between 17:45 to 20:00. All singers are welcome!
