The Ministry of Justice, Interior and Public Administration has renovated 200 radio communication terminals for the Regional Police of Valencia, with the aim of replacing and modernising the fleet it currently has.
The radio equipment will be distributed among the officers of four Valencian Community police stations: 82 for Valencia, 43 for Alicante, 31 for Elche and 44 for Castellón.
The chosen walkie talkie model is a device that increases functionalities and has multiple utilities for public safety. Its main advantages are the privacy and protection they offer in communications.
The new terminal has an ergonomic and resistant design, which allows easy handling and guarantees its durability in adverse situations. It also has a high-resolution screen that makes it easy to view information in unfavourable conditions.
The portable radio offers a large number of functionalities, among which are integrated GPS that allows location and tracking in real time, text messaging for communication in situations where it is not possible to speak, as well as an emergency button that allows quick alerts in critical situations and also a long-lasting battery that guarantees uninterrupted communication.
The company that has supplied the Police with the new Motorola Solutions equipment is Tecnitrán Telecomunicaciones, which will also be responsible for their maintenance.
