- Charo Esquiva champion of the ITF junior 500 of Offenbach in Germany
Last weekend saw a brilliant victory for Charo in the junior ITF circuit, this time in one of the most prestigious tournaments on the junior world circuit, only surpassed in importance by the four junior grand slams.
During the tournament Charo was in excellent form beating 6 players classified among the 100 best juniors in the world, highlighting her victories in the quarterfinals against the Serbian Teodora Kostovic, number 25 ITF and in the final against the Slovak Nina Vargova number 23 ITF by 6-4, 6-7, 6-4.
Thanks to this victory, she has gained 500 ITF points and next Tuesday she will be ranked among the 40 best in the world, She has also qualified to play the final phase of Roland Garros and the Wimbledon junior tournament.
