The representatives of Los Verdes de Torrevieja report that they have been the first to present the candidacies for the municipal elections on May 28 before the Orihuela Zone Electoral Board.
“Today is an exciting day, we present the candidacy with great enthusiasm. An open, feminist and intergenerational candidacy that will take Torrevieja into the future” defended Israel Muñoz, candidate for Mayor with Los Verdes de Torrevieja, who also recalled that in these elections “we Torrevejenses are at stake, go back or continue advancing, continue with the cuñaismo or bet on a new model of the city”.
Cuñaismo is defined as related to nepotism, or a tendency to express opinions on any subject, usually in an uninformed way, solely based on individual experience or with the intention of being above other people.
The list, as previously advanced, will have independent people from different cultural, social, and educational fields representative of the municipality and will be closed by the former Mayor, José Manuel Dolón.
