Les Petits As (The little champions) is an international tennis tournament for players between 12 and 14 years of age. It is held annually in Tarbes, France and it is a competition in which world-famous tennis players such as Rafa Nadal and Martina Hingis have taken part.
One of this year’s newcomers is number 9 seed, Torrevieja’s Charo Esquiva, who got off to a good start with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Latvian Katrin Reinvald.
