Torrevieja town hall has this week got the ball rolling on the construction of a new sports pavilion in La Mata.
The councillor-secretary of the Local Government Board (JGL), Federico Alarcón, has reported that this morning the start of the strategic environmental assessment procedure for the specific modification of the Internal Reform Plan (PRI) in the Calle Delfín, calle de los Daneses and another to adapt the building conditions of block B of Enclave 7 to the requirements of the program of uses defined in the justifying report for the construction of a sports pavilion in this enclave of the district of La Mata.
The proposed planning focuses on modifying the building parameters of the recreational plot in order to facilitate the implementation of a sports building that houses a sports court with the regulatory dimensions.
Likewise, the Governing Board has approved starting the consultation phase, requesting a report from the affected public administrations, municipal services, body and interested persons, for a period of 30 business days.
Federico Alarcón has informed that in order to carry out the execution of the La Mata sports pavilion, setbacks will be eliminated and the height will be increased by about two meters in order to generate a more ambitious project. Likewise, increase the 100% utility and go from one floor to two floors, to house sports and social equipment, with a sports court of regulatory dimensions, more stands, changing rooms, etc.
Finally, the councilman-secretary of the Local Government Board has announced that during the summer the execution works of this sports pavilion of La Mata could begin.
