It was a very nice surprise to receive a telephone call from Graham Haywood of the Campoverde Theatre Group. He was ringing David & Loraine Whitney, fund raisers for the AFA Alzheimers Torrevieja, to advise them that they had a donation of 300 Euros for the charity.
With recent fund raising events the generosity of people has been amazing and at present David and Lorraine have now raised 2000 Euros for this worthwhile charity. With another event just around the corner (Mingle Bells at the Marina Bar, Calle de las Rosas on the 13th Dec) it looks to be a very successful and rewarding time of year.
