The Mayor of Pilar de la Horadada, José María Pérez Sánchez was accompanied by the Councillor for Tourism, Belén Sánchez, when he attended the presentation ceremony where he received 5 blue flags from the European Foundation for Environmental Educationfor local beaches and the marina, as a symbol of the high environmental quality, services and safety for users.
The presentation was carried out in a hotel in Cullera, by the Regional Secretary of Environment and Climate Change, Francisco Javier Quesada.
Mayor José María Pérez Sánchez highlighted the excellent work that is being carried out by the City Council, “ensuring that one of our main tourist attractions is awarded with the highest distinction “.
Meanwhile Sabina-Goretti Galindo, attended a similar ceremony at the headquarters of the Ministry of Tourism of Spain, where she was awarded with Q Quality Tourism 2019 certifications, by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE)
The event was attended by the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, the Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Oliver, and the president of ICTE, Miguel Mirones.
