Aidan O’Brien is set to continue his Midas touch on Day 4 of the 2019 Royal Ascot meeting on Friday, June 21 – underlined by Japan, Ten Sovereigns and Hermosa.
Ballydoyle trainer O’Brien saddles Japan (3.05) in the King Edward VII Stakes over 1m 3f, with stable jockey Ryan Moore on board.
Commonwealth Cup favourite Ten Sovereigns (3.40) will take all the beating in the 6 furlongs race, with Moore up.
Hermosa (4.20) is tipped to land the Coronation Stakes over 7 furlongs, with Moore in the saddle.
Softly spoken O’Brien and Moore have had a plethora of winners on the opening three days of the Royal meeting – including Arizona in the Coventry Stakes – and Circus Maximus.
O’Brien’s Royal Ascot string also includes So Wonderful (2.30) tipped each way in the Albany Stakes over 6f.
Chilli Retin (2.30) trained by Wesley Ward, is also tipped each way in The Albany.
Advertise (3.40) ridden by Frankie Dettori is tipped each way in the Commonwealth Cup.
Castle Lady (4.20) is selected for a place in the Coronation Stakes.
In the Sandringham Stakes (5.00) over 1m, O’Brien saddles Coral Beach (ew); with Magnetic Charm (ew) trained by William Haggas, and Nonchalance, trained by John Gosden, a trio worthy of support in the 28 runners field.
In The Duke of Edinburgh Stakes (5.35) over 1m 3f, Frankie Dettori takes the ride on the John Gosden trained Baghdad (ew), with Secret Advisor (ew) trained by Charlie Appleby, and Corgi (ew) trained by Hugh Morrison and ridden by Jim Crowley, all tipped to run well.
