Sad news for the Orihuela Costa as the councillor of Tourism and International Residents, Sofía Álvarez, has announced that she no longer wishes to be included on the Partido Popular electoral list for the upcoming municipal elections if Emilio Bascuñana and Damaso Aparicio continue to head the list.
And in a further blow for the Costa it’s one and only sports centre has been closed down following a dispute between the Orihuela Council and the management Company.
