For the first time, it will start and the finish in Mojácar Pueblo and, the Plaza Rey Alabez will be where the 400 racers will gather at 8 a.m. for both the non-competitive “short circuit” of 43 Kms and the “long circuit” of just over 75 Kms. Another new feature is the inclusion on the route of Los Miradores track, to set a further challenge with its spectacular views alongside the Mediterranean.
There are 540 participants registered, but only the maximum number of 400 can take their place at the start, in compliance with race regulations. Riders will be coming in from all over Spain, with a large number from the Alicante area, which has a strong cycling tradition.
