Today Montgo G.S played a Stableford competition at La Sella Golf Club. The sponsor was Dave Fotheringham.
This was a change to scheduled fixture as there was a special competition at Oliva Nova.
Montgo have not travelled to La Sella for a long time but I must say the course was in pretty good condition and the greens were very fast.
Today’s winner was Ian Bonser with 25 points, 2nd was Dennis Hammond 33 point, 3rd Peter Gardiner 32 points and 4th George Braddick 31 points. We had 2 nearest the pins won by Peter Gardiner and Barry Butler. We also had 2 two´s Richard Fox and Dennis Hammond both took home coveted Montgo balls. Dave put a special prize for the player who came 16th and this was Feli Baybutt.
