A depleted entry of 8 members forced the planned ‘Yellow Ball’ team game to be changed to an individual ‘Joker’ competition. New member Paddy O’Brien, who had struggled on his two previous games, being allocated a fairly high handicap, showed that he has come to terms with the golf course and receives a fairly hefty handicap cut for his win. Second place by one point, Ray Housley, also ‘cleaned up’ with the nearest the pin prizes

Second place – Handicap 10, Ray Housley – 41 points
First place – Handicap 20 – Paddy O’Brien 42 points..
If anyone would like to join our Society, we play at El Plantio Golf Club every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. We use both courses – the Par 3 nine hole course and the main 18 hole course, so we cater for all abilities.
