One no, one yes – an apology and an invitation from Amata
Last weekend craft association Amata was forced to postpone the Craft Fair that they had built up in Pedreguer, because the strong gusts of wind threatened to overthrow most of the stalls. The decision was made mid morning on the Saturday, when it was clear that the wind would not subside in the afternoon, nor on Sunday. By then it was too late to let everybody know of the cancellation and the organizers hope that all people who came in vain to the fair, will forgive them.
Together with the fiesta comission and the Town Hall they will plan another weekend to repeat the fair, but that will certainly be too late for all those who had planned to buy their loved ones an original hand made Valentine-present. Amata would like to invite all these people to come to another of their fairs: the one they organise every Saturday and Sunday morning in the Port of Jávea.
This weekly fair right on the sea front, has over the last few years been established as one of the attractions of the Port of Jávea. After Christmas time the artisans have taken a short rest but from Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 February (in time for Valentine´s day) they will be there again every weekend.

Every Saturday and every Sunday you will find here stalls with original craftwork, all made by the same people that are in the stalls, from 11 am till 2 or 3 pm. The choice will change a bit from week to week and every stall offers something different.
