Panto season has come and gone….boo hoo, but the cast and crew of the Rojales Pantomime Group had a fantastic time performing their latest pantomime with a difference, Camelot The Panto, at Escuela De Musica Y Cultura in Los Montesinos in January 2019.
A tale was told of love so true and deeds so bold with a very happy ending seeing Prince Arthur finally winning the hand of the beautiful Guinevere, and even the court jester Laughalot found his true love. Evil was tamed and good prevailed with Morgan Le Fey and her Evil Sisters all succumbing to goodness finally renouncing their magical powers.
Songs were sung and lots of dances were perfectly danced and nurse Connie Clatterbottom and dancing Teddy made it safely through the night in the Haunted Hotel in the Shrieking Bog where the ghost was always BEHIND THEM…. Oh yes it was.
Merlin with the help of magic became younger but Valerin the Vicious, and his mum, were unsuccessful in winning the hand of the fair Guinevere.
¨A pantomime with a difference, Camelot, had it all, slick smooth and professional with lots of laughs. Costumes and props were very good. Well done to the cast and crew for all their hard work, we really enjoyed the matinee performance¨. Susan Phillips.
Just one of the many reviews received from the fantastic audience who all participated to make this pantomime a resounding success. Thank you one and all and we hope to see you all next year at PANTO TIME.
