The Craft Fair that you can find every Saturday and Sunday morning on the sea promenade is become a well known attraction of in the Port of Jávea. The artists and craft people will also be there on the 5th and 6th of January, because that’s when the Spanish celebrate the fiesta of Los Reyes Magos, the Three Kings who bring lots of presents!
But after that they will take a break till the 9th of February – although most of the artesans will be busy in their workshops preparing for Valentine’s Day (because you will all be looking for nice presents for your loved ones, won’t you?). And from then on they will be there again very Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting).
The fair is posted in Google Maps (https://goo.gl/maps/rx5uWDjHiYs or look for Feria de Artesanía Xàbia) and there is even a special page in Facebook, dedicated exclusively to the fairs that the craft association Amata is organizing in the Port of Jávea. Because the weekly fair on Saturday and Sunday mornings (from 11am till 3 pm) is not the only one that Amata organises there.
The local shopkeepers association has asked them to organise a long summer fair (from June till September, every evening after 7pm) and several weekend fairs on bank holiday-weekends. All the news about these fairs, information about what to expect there and changes in opening times you can find at https://www.facebook.com/feriaartesaniajavea/
