On Friday 7th and Saturday 8th December Age Concern were present at Iceland supermarket at San Fulgencio fundraising for the Charity with a huge Christmas Draw. Shoppers bought raffle tickets in the hope of winning a mega hamper of Christmas Fayre, hamper of bottles of spirits or a 25e voucher donated by Iceland themselves.
Age Concern would like to thank everyone who bought tickets and to those who generously made cash donations. The draw made a whopping 780e which will go to maintaining and upgrading our inventory of mobility aids and the continual support for the over 50’s on the Southern Costa Blanca.
It was a lucky Pam Rossiter from La Marina who won the first prize, Mr Coventry from Benijofar won the hamper of spirits and Mrs Wales pocketed the 25e voucher to spend in Iceland. A very well done to the lucky winners.
