A fashion show and tombola is to be held on Friday 7 December at Cheers Bar Restaurant in Eagles Nest, doors open from 12.30. On arrival you will receive a glass of Bucks Fizz and a Tombola ticket for 2.00 euro. The Fashion show will take place 13.00-14.00 with sales from 14.00-15.00.
There will be new, nearly new and handmade clothes, there will also be a stall with handbags, jewellery, shoes……..either to match your outfit or for a nice Christmas present.
All of the money raised is for the animals at Finca Villamartin, supported by non-profit Happy Animales Orihuela, the founder of which is Mona Nowak.
At Finca Villamartin there are currently 18 horses, 4 ponies, 8 goats, 5 pigs, 13 gees, Daisy and Donald Duck, 2 ferrets, 4 Peacocks and about 20 cats.
The volunteers are working hard to give these animals a 2nd chance in life, after they were either mistreated or abandoned.
As a special offer that day, soup and a sandwich will be available for 4.00 euros, the normal menu is also available.
