Coming up on the Orihuela Costa in the coming few days are a number of events that will involve the Royal British Legion and for which your support would be most welcome. All are Christmas related and involve carols and other festive activities.
Saturday 1st of Dec will the RBL band will be outside the Samaritans office at Punta Prima commercial centre, for xmas carols at 10.30.
On Saturday 8 December in La Zenia Boulevard starting at 6pm Just Brass Band will be playing in the central square from 6pm. There will be a full programme of carols and hopefully we might be able to suggest that the Boulevard throw in a bottle or two of mulled wine.
The following week will see the RBL Band in action twice, first on Wednesday 12 from 6pm at Los Balcones Church, Thursday 13 at the Olympia Restaurant where they will play for members following the monthly meeting and then on Saturday 15 December they will be playing a carol concert outside the Playa Flamenco Town Hall starting at 6pm. I understand that the council plan to switch on the Christmas lights at the same time.
