Over 350 people packed the salon in the Playa Flamenca Town hall on Thursday where they had their questions answered on topics including residency, healthcare and tax. The meeting was opened by the councillor for Foreign Residents, Sofia Alvarez
As well as the latest sport and news there is also a feature on the Alicante Sanatorium, the largest in Europe, and the centre of Spain’s fight against leprosy. The story tells of the centre’s fight to dispel false myths that have surrounded the disease for many years.
