Saturday 1st December from 11am Age Concern , once again, hold their annual Christmas Fair at their Day Centre in Calle Paganini, La Siesta. This popular event this year will feature the Phoenix International Concert Band playing traditional carols for all of us to join in singing to.
There will be favourite stalls to browse including clothes, jewellery, bric-a brac, cakes, handbags, and an array of small electrical items and plenty more. No Fair would be complete without a tombola, bottle tombola, lucky dip and a Christmas stall and, of course, there is a raffle for a huge Christmas Hamper and tickets will be available on the day.
Our big prize draw this year will include a 100e voucher to spend in Carrefour and a 75e voucher to buy all your favourite treats in Iceland. Other prizes include a daytrip to Benidorm, Kingsize duvet set, a double bed set, a hamper of Christmas goodies, basket of spirits and a wine basket and so many more.
You can buy your tickets now for the prize draw from our Day Centre or from either of our charity shops located in Av. del Mar, Los Montesinos or Calle Patricia Zammit 41, Torrevieja. Also at the fair there will be hot sausage rolls or, perhaps you’ll fancy a nice cup of tea and a mince pie for just 1 euro.
All proceeds from the Fair will go towards maintenance of the vast inventory of mobility aids, running costs of our 2 vehicles, upkeep of our Day Centre and providing care to the most vulnerable and needy over 50’s in the Southern Costa Blanca area.
