Mondays roll up this week was a stableford of the yellow blocks which was won by Mike Stott with a par round of 36 points playing of +1.
Results were as follows,
4th, Jeff Ellis (30), 3rd, Barry Roehrig (34), 2nd, Dave Friedman (35) and 1st, Mike Stott (36).
Nearest the pins were Mike Stott (3), Alex Duchart (6), Mike Stott (13) and Barry Roehrig (16).
On Wednesday we played a Stableford competition of the Yellow Blocks, results was as follows;
4th, Barry Roehrig (34), 3rd Mick Elliot (34), 2nd, John MaCadams (35) and 1st, Jeff Ellis (39).
Nearest the pins were Craig Howie (3), Doug Spiring (6), Craig Howie (13) and Mike Stott (16).
On Saturday we played a stableford of the Yellow Blocks due to reseeding of the Tee’s with 16 members taking part as contrary to the doom and gloom amateur weather forecasters we managed to get round the 18 holes unscathed, greens a bit soft after the overnight rain though.
Results as follows,
4th Jerry Conybeare (36) 3rd, Mike Stott (37), 2nd, Eric Owens (38) and 1st, Doug Spiring with (39).
Nearest the pins were Jos Collignon (3), Doug Spiring (6), Mike Stott (13) and Eric Owens (16).
Three 2s today Urs Schnuburger and Alex Duchart on hole 6 and Gavin Parke on hole 16, unfortunately for the trio hole 13 was drawn out.
Best dressed golfer was a sober Scott Ramsey for a second week in a row.

La Finca Golf Society meets every Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays at La Finca with first tee time around 09-00 am. Saturday is main competition day with various competitions which are Spanish Federated, to be eligible to play you need a handicap of 16 or less.
