A Portsmouth couple have been told by Iberdrola that they must pay up to 2000 euro for a new electrical meter, to reconnect an entire group of five houses, after they purchased a repossessed property. The charge calls into question the failure of the bank, the estate agent and their solicitor in disclosing the extra costs prior to purchase.
