The Councilor for Works and Services, José Francisco Albaladejo, told a press conference last week that he now has the funding that will enable him to upgrade more than fifty children’s playgrounds in the municipality of Pilar de la Horadada.
Having carried out a recent assessment of their condition he said that a council team will refurbish twenty in the urban area, five in the Pinar de Campoverde, four in El Mojon, ten in Torre de La Horadada, six in Victoria Beach and five in Mil Palmeras, a total of fifty parks.
In addition, the councillor said that work on the remodelling of del Parque 30 de Julio, and “that in Torre de la Horadada work has already begun on la Calle Fragata, another new park on Avenida de los Segundas and the restructuring of the park Ramón Antonio Escudero located in the Avenida de las Cofradías”.
There will also be a park for the disabled in Torre de la Horadada that was approved in the participatory budgets and new geronto gimnasia park in Pilar de la Horadada for those of advancing years.
“The intention of the government team is that all spaces used as playgrounds for children and adults are in perfect condition for the use and enjoyment of all residents,” said José Francisco Albaladejo.
