Pretty soon the people that have set up their craft stalls every Sunday morning at the sea front in the Port of Jávea will take a break till the autumn.
If you like to spend your Sunday morning strolling along the promenade in the Port of Jávea, looking at (and buying) good quality craft work, you can do so till the 10th of June.
From 11 o’clock the stalls are open and at 12 noon there is a free workshop for children: one of the participants will help them to make their own bracelet, paper flower or hand painted pebble – every Sunday something different. This little fair has acquired some fame for offering original craft work and is becoming quite popular.
During the summer it is much too hot to open in the mornings, so, from the 15th of June the fair will open in the evenings – not only on Sundays, but every evening! – from 7pm onwards. Some twenty stalls are expected in the same location (at the end of the Avenida Jaime I in the Port of Jávea) with a variety of crafts: jewelry, designer clothing, toys, decorative lamps, sculptures, leather bags and belts, paintings and water colours.
