CaixaBank, with the collaboration of Obra Social “la Caixa”, has launched a fundraising campaign (solidarity crowdfunding) with the aim of encouraging individuals and companies to join the initiative which it is hoped will raise the 2,500 euros needed to complete the construction project of an adapted park for disabled students at the Alpe Special Education Centre in Torrevieja .
This action of solidarity crowdfunding is part of the strong social commitment of CaixaBank that, “through its network of banking offices (the largest in Spain with about 5,000), can help to support the most urgent local social needs, many of small magnitude but which, as a whole, can have a great impact.
Obra Social “la Caixa” has already made a donation of 7,000 euros to the project. It hopes to raise the balance which will enable the park to be completed within the next 6 weeks.
Anyone wishing to make a donation can do so at any of the bank’s ATMs, through the Línea Abierta or through the portal www.caixabank.es, guaranteeing that 100% of the contributions will be paid to the project.
