The Valencian Championships commenced this week, with the ladies and gents pairs playing at all three venues. San Miguel ladies were well represented, with many games played against their own team mates.
Congratulations to Carol Rudge and Anita Brown for reaching the semi finals. Their first game was against team mates Pat and Ann having to play an extra end, with Carol coming in for shot.
Last years winners, Gail Willshire and Lyn Greenland also had brilliant games reaching the semi finals, their first game was even going into the last end, with Lyn taking shot. Good luck to you all for the semi finals. The men didn’t fair as well with no-one reaching the semi finals. Many games still to play.
