The ComarCON is an alternative leisure event organised annually by the Juvenile Association La Comarca in Torrevieja’s Municipal Leisure Centre.
The purpose of the organisation is to make the favourite hobbies and pastimes of children and juveniles available in one central location. They include video games, board games, magic, self-defence, juggling, role playing and much, much more.
And the very best part about it all….it is available completely free of charge.
The Councilor for Youth, Víctor Ferrández, was accompanied by the coordinator of the UA University in Torrevieja, José Norberto Mazón, and the Regional Vice President, Alejandro Sesma in announcing details of the 5th edition of event which will be held on 14 and 15 October at the Palacio de los Deportes.
In addition to the many items already listed there will also be competitions, workshops, exhibitions, talks, tournaments, and you will also be able to walk around a variety of stands and shops. The event will be open all day between the hours of 10am and 9pm on both the 14 and 15 October with free admission.
You can even take your mums and dads along to the multimedia engineering stand which will be demonstrating many retro video games from 30 years ago…should bring back a memory or two!
