Yet again the club day’s Competition, this time a ‘Joker’, on Tuesday 13th December saw another Hole-in-One. This time it was David Swann who became the 4th to succeed in 16 days, this time on the 102 metre 9th hole. A good turnout of 21 members jokingly bemoaned the fact that they seem to be forever forking out the Euro for the achievement.
Nearest the pins : Hole 2, Laurence Wanty – Hole 5, An unheard of tie between Claude De Wamme and Martin Rickman.
3rd Place – Handicap 6, Ian Craig – 41 Points
2nd Place – Handicap 10, Keith Smith – 41 points on C/B.
1st Place – Handicap 9(not for long) Ray Housley – 45 points
If anyone would like to join our Society, we play at El Plantio Golf Club on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. We use both courses – the Par 3 nine hole course and the main 18 hole course, so we cater for all abilities.
