Wow. What a great day we had. Thanks to all that came along to a wet day at Villamartin and all for a great cause. It was our Charity day in aid of La Finca Castellena.
As it was also our Christmas party weekend we had people dressed up and Liz Sully won best. Dressed and Brian Fenty came a close second.our 2s pot was a double rollover and with 192€ in the pot, Kelham Mountain and Liz Sully were more then happy to share the pot.
We had nearest the pin in 3 on hole 1 and hole 11 and Colin Wilson and Mike Frankish won those taking a bottle of vodka. Our neared test the pins were sponsored this week by NTS painting services for all your painting needs. (Spice). Hole 6 was won by Mr John 1 Eyre, hole 9 by Lee Williamson, hole 13 by Kevin Harmison and hole 17 was taken by Nick Spicer. All winning 12.50€ bar tab for The Alehouse.
Our main event saw all winners coming in with 35 points but Hugh Findley had the best back 9, then Richard Allen, then Colin Wilson. Well done lads.
Our best lady of the day was Liz Sully, collecting a bottle of cava. Our favourite member Mr John Griffths collected his last place prize with great pride. Saturday night saw our Christmas party with the raffle.
Thanks to all those who donated prizes, The Square restaurant, The Winchester, Fairways, Galaxy Golf, Quesada Fish and Chip shop, Munchies, The Alehouse, Adrian Rudge Golf Professional, Rajasthan. We raised a fantastic 651€ for la Finca Castellena.
