Donald Trump has announced on Twitter that he has cancelled a meeting with the “failing” @NYTimes (New York Times) because the terms and conditions of the meeting were changed at the last moment.
I cancelled today's meeting with the failing @nytimes when the terms and conditions of the meeting were changed at the last moment. Not nice

According to Trump, the New York Times continued to cover him inaccurately and in a nasty tone.
Perhaps a new meeting will be set up with the @nytimes. In the meantime they continue to cover me inaccurately and with a nasty tone!

Throughout his election campaign, Trump has criticised the press for their bias media coverage and on Monday evening leading journalists from the American TV news networks including NBC’s Lester Holt, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and ABC’s George Stephanopoulos were branded “liars” and the “lowest form of humanity” according to leaked details to the New York Post.
“The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing down.”
