On 6th October our anglers fished Round 4 of the Autumn Series on the Eden Canal section of the River Segura in Guardamar.
Winner on the day was Mark Foden with 3.42kg, second was Derek King with 2.52kg third was Tom Marshall with 2.16kg and fourth Steve Collins with 2.14kg.
Next week, Round 5, will be fished on the Embalse de Pedrera, on 13th October. Please meet at the top at 7.30am.
Round 6 the following week will be back on the Eden Canal. Both matches fishing from 9.00 till 2.00.
The next Quiz night is on 11th October commencing at 7.30pm. Cost of entry is 1€ per person and teams of 6 or less can take part.
Our next Sunday Meeting is on 16th October with the Committee meeting at 10.30 followed by the General meeting at 11.00.
Please return any trophies won last year to the Committee by 6th November. Thank you.
For those of you who fish the Murcia region, Rangers have intervened on 18th and 25th September on the Embalse de Cierva , where Spanish fishing matches were being held. So be careful if fishing any where in the Murcia region.
The Clubs home is the Bar El Alto La Dolores which is just off the N332 between Guardamar and La Mata.
