The 1,350 euros recently raised at Restaurante El Alto La Dolores, was handed over to Paul Owen, Treasurer for Torrevieja Stroke Support. The money will mostly be used to support stroke victims with rehabilitation and residential care.
On 20th August there will be another charity night at the Restaurant, in aid of Samaritans in Spain. Entertainer for the night will be Lee Howard, singer/guitarist, who has played with some of the top artists.
Tickets available from the Restaurant itself, or from The Card Place in Benimar, and REDZ cafe bar in Quesada. Priced at 10 euros which includes a 2 course meal, and with another chance to win a Mediterranean cruise. Don’t miss the boat, at tickets for these events always sell out quickly.
