For our July outing we travelled the short distance to Las Colinas. Las Colinas is always a good choice for golf societies as they look after you so well. In addition to a fantastic golf course you have free access to the range and a free drink after your game (much needed on this occasion). Many thanks as always to Ana and staff.
It was the weather rather than the course that was the main challenge on the day. You would think we would be used to this summer weather by now but on a hot humid day with no breeze we were all wilting by the end of the game. The conditions may well have contributed to lower than normal scores but congratulations to those who finished in the top group.
We returned to the Blarneystone for the prizegiving and excellent food from Gill, thank you as always Gill.
