Two members of the Policia Locale have been recognised for their bravery in Algorfa. Enrique Escribano Rodriguez and Jose Pedro de Alcantara Lopez Lopez both risked their lives in recent operations and were commended by the Chief Constable for their unselfish actions.
They are pictured receiving the Civil Merit award by the mayor of Algorfa City Council, Manuel Ros, who has also submitted a dossier on their actions recommending further awards to the Ministry of the Interior.
